Yahoo has a photo of Ademilton who is a 16.7 pound baby that was born in Salvador, Brazil. Both the baby and mother, Francisca Ramos dos Santos, are doing fine according to the hospital directory. The average weight for newborn boys in Brazil is 7.7 pounds so that puts Ademilton at double the average. The baby had to be born by Caesarean section because he is so big. The Santos family has four other children ranging from 9 years old to 15 years old but none of them weighed as much at birth as Ademilton did.
