One of the most emailed photos on Yahoo which has been in the top 3 for at least the last week or so is of a giant catfish. Now this blue catfish weights around 124 pounds according to the caption of the photo. The fish was caught in the Mississippi River and they actually kept it alive where it will be on display in a tank at an Outfitter store. It took the fisherman guy a half an hour to haul the fish into his boat. Apparently they are also looking to get it certified as a world record size fish.

In this car accident photo you can see how well a Mercedes station wagon can hold up to a side impact collision. There isn't any information in the caption on what exactly happened or how fast the other car was going but it seems like the Mercedes held up pretty well. The driver compartment remained relatively intact and the front axle probably took a good brunt of the side force from the other vehicle. This accident happened in Sweden there is a series of different photos of this car from different angles.

One of the most emailed photos on Yahoo right now is this photo of a sandstorm rolling into a base in Iraq. The photo is pretty amazing because it looks exactly like the digital sandstorm in the movie "Hidalgo" and the one in "The Mummy". Everything in front of it is clear and this giant wave of roiling sand just comes roaring forward. Probably not a good idea to be outside when a sandstorm comes along.

If you've ever driven in San Jose, CA you know what a nut house the freeways are. The Porsche in this photo was forced up onto the center divider by an unlicenced and uninsured driver. The Porsche was lucky it didn't keep going over the divider into oncoming traffic. I think this a pretty amazing photo because I don't see any damage on the side of the car at all. You would think there would be scratch marks or something on the side of the Porsche but there aren't any. It looks like there might be some damage on the front of the car so maybe the Porsche drove up on top of the car in front of it to be able to get up on the center divider like that. This photo also reminds me of the guy that went wacked in San Diego, drove the tank up on the center divider in the freeway, and got it stuck there.

Yahoo has a photo of Ademilton who is a 16.7 pound baby that was born in Salvador, Brazil. Both the baby and mother, Francisca Ramos dos Santos, are doing fine according to the hospital directory. The average weight for newborn boys in Brazil is 7.7 pounds so that puts Ademilton at double the average. The baby had to be born by Caesarean section because he is so big. The Santos family has four other children ranging from 9 years old to 15 years old but none of them weighed as much at birth as Ademilton did.
