In this video clip they take a can of thermite, place it over a barrel size ice cube and light the thermite on fire. The thermite burns through it's container and drops down onto the ice where the whole thing explodes.
This guy built a giant telsa coil in his driveway and the video shows him firing it up. The electricity from the telsa coil arcs all over the place. I'm not quite sure what the arcing box on the ground to the left of the telsa coil is though.
In this video there is a power transformer with a short circuit. You can see the electricity flashing in the video until at one point the transformer shot out superheated oil which causes a giant fireball on the video. Go Florida.
In this video a guy in Japan shows off a mech he built for around $300,000. It looks like a mech but the legs don't actually lift off the ground and seem to just slide along like the feet have rollers under them. He has air cannons mounted on either side.
In this video a guy gets carried up on a updraft while kite surfing. He's in the air for about thirty eight seconds or some before coming back down. He moves in over land up to about two hundred feet or so before coming back down and crashing into the dirt.
In this video they have a wiimote controlling an industrial arm robot. The two different things they try are attaching a tennis racquet to the robot arm and attaching a sword to the robot arm. One noticeable thing is that the robot arm lags considerably behind the wiimote movement.
Guy in this video sits in a car seat which is welded to a robotic arm. The arm swings him around and I assume it is controlled by a human operator verses a recorded or random sequence of movements. Even so a couple times he almost hits his head on the ground for a Darwin Award.
Here's a slow motion video of a bullet shooting through a lit light bulb at 5000 frames per second. The bullet catchs the lit filament which stretchs out until it finally breaks.
