Ding ding ding! And we have another Darwin Award nominee in this video. The guy takes a stick (or sledge hammer) and hits a can of WD40. It explodes in his face. The question what did he think was going to happen when he hit it? You know those warning labels on the outside? Yeah.
In this video there is a two way highway with a manhole cover between the two lanes. It's raining and all of a sudden a huge geyser of water shoots up out of the manhole cover. One of the passing cars gets hit by the flying manhole cover. The geyser dies down and then near the end of the video it does it again.
Two guys battle it out using martial arts weapons in the video of this tournament. One guy has what I assume is a Bo (basically a quarterstaff) and the other guy has a three piece staff. The video quality is horrible.
Guy puts on a skydiving wing suit, straps a jet engine to each of his feet, and jumps off of a hot air balloon for a good time in this video. It doesn't look like it would be very easy to land with the jet engines on his feet but I assume he just pops a parachute.
This video shows some people going out to a country road creek crossing and video taping a huge flash flood. The mud, water, trees, etc. just rolls down the creekbed and swalls the road.
This video has a table top screen (either an LCD or a projector from below) which they call a tangible musical instrument. Basically you drop blocks on it and the interface detects the function or sample of a block. The sample or function plays a sound or modifies the surrounding blocks. It's a half virtual half physical sample studio.
Here's a video taken from what seems like a cell phone came of the world's tallest living horse. Apparently he eats 18 pounds of grain, 40 pounds of hay, and drinks 20 gallons of water a day. He's 6 feet and 7.5 inchs tall which I assume is at the shoulder and weighs around 2400 pounds.
Insain looking suit a French guy invented which contains 31 wheels. It allows you to rollerskate in any position you can think of. It shows the guy doing everything from riding down stairs, to rollerskating on all fours, to lugeing down a parking garage entrace. Urban combat of the future suit?
