Here is a pretty funny video spoofing vegans. It starts out with a guy eating in a fast food restaurant with is buddy. The buddy is having fries, a burger, and a bucket of soda. The guy is having some limp salad and a glass of water (your normal fast food vegan fare). Here's where the fact advertisement comes in for "The Chubby Vegan" a fictional restaurant that serves vegan food like fastfood. The commecial toutes thick slabs of tofu, super special 5 million whole grain wheat bread, lactose free soy cheese, and a giant wheatgrass green gulp all for $27.99! It's funny because vegan food really is overpriced and badly marketed.
The most emailed photo over on Yahoo right now is this photo of a monkey waterskiing. The "water ski" consists of a boogie board style ski with a metal cross board on it. The monkey holds onto the cross bar and then there is another bar which is higher up which he can lean against. Apparently the monkey waterskiing has something to do with a 100 days Asian economic sumit in Korea? Oh excuse me it's an ORANGUTAN not a monkey. Same difference. That monkey probably waterskies better than I do.
If you've never heard of Despair, Inc. before they sell demotivational posters (the opposite of motivational posters). The photo in this poster is of a group of sky divers and the poster is titled "Idiocy". The caption of the poster is "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Highly amusing considering all the links to Darwin Award finalists we post on NinjaWax all the time. They list the poster as being great for "idiots, cynical skydivers, aeroacrophobics, and disaffected college students." If you know someone who is a walking Darwin Award finalist you might want to forward it on to them.
I did a search on flickr for "funny" and one of the people that showed up was a guy who had submitted a bunch of fake billboards. One of the best ones was the one that says "Guys admit it. You're going to buy anything we advertise here." with a woman wearing a bikini on it. Another funny one was "Where are all the news crews when we're NOT spilling anything? -Exxon". Pretty funny stuff. Head on over and check it out.
What did you think you were going to get when you clicked over to this blog? Well that caption was a little misleading wasn't it? Anyway this photo of a sexy Sumatran orangutan dressing herself at a Zoo in Moscow is the most emailed photo on Yahoo right now. Now all she needs is a big floppy hat with a feather in it. I think Sumatra called and they want their monkey back.
Here we have a ca accident with a police car sitting on top of another car and a boat parked in a driveway. According to the caption of the photo the police car lost control while responding to a call in the rain. The car crossed a lawn in Closter, NJ and ended up on top of the car. The drive had to launch that police car pretty good because it almost made it all the way over the car that it is sitting on top of. I'm amazed that the car on the bottom doesn't have broken back passenger windows.
Over on Yahoo one of the most emailed photos is this photo of Phil Mickelson taken right after he misses a putt. The putt would have tied him against Tiger Woods but instead he missed it and LOST. There is another reason I think it is one of the most emailed photos. The guy behind the Phil guy is also making a face and the picture combines into a pretty funny accidental photo. You'll have to see the full photo yourself to see what I mean about it. It's just wrong on many many levels.
Most people have probably used one of the online map services before. And if you have you may have run into one of their not so great moments of sending you on a wild goose chase in the wrong direction or on a route that is totally wrong. Well someone took a screen shot of the MSN map service which told them to go to England from Norway, then to France, Germany, and finally back to Norway in a totally out of the way loop when they could have just driven a few miles north up the road and gotten to the same place. I assume that the first leg of the trip on the MSN map is by ferry because it is over a large body of water.
