 In this video someone out there on the interweb took the time to create stop motion homages to old video games like Pac-Man, Frogger, and Space Invaders. The items in the stop motion video are all from around the house like sponges, toys, cupcakes, salt shakers, leaves, bugs, rocks, etc. First up it features Centipede using cupcakes, muffins, birthday candles, and salt shakers. They did a pretty good job capturing the gameplay in all of them. Next up is Frogger which uses sponges, sequence, watchs, pretzels, and other such items to create a pretty accurate depiction of Frogger even down to the high score. Next up is Asteroids, Space Invaders, and finally Pac-Man where Pac-Man is played by a pizza.

Here's a pretty unconventional performance by a guy who's name I think is Gilles Apap. He's performing a piece by Mozart on a violin by himself. The unconventional part is that along with playing the violin he also whistles, sings, strums the violin like a ukulele, and plays a beat on the violin with his fingers. The best part is the look on the faces of the orchestra around him. They have varying looks between amazement, embarrassment, and astonishment as if they can't believe this guy is on the same stage as themselves at the same time that they are amazed at the sound he is producing.
Here's a screen capture video from a racing game called Trackmania. Apparently you can record your track run and then play it back. This video takes 1000 track runs and plays them all back in the same track at the same time. The video itself is pretty crazy looking as all of the cars look like they move as a fluid. There is a second video which has 3000 track runs played back which also looks cool but it isn't edited quite as well. The cars race through the track and each time they hit a jump they spill all over the place. At the end of the video all the cars jump out into the ocean.
Over on Yahoo's most emailed photos they have several images of these tiny Pygmy Marmoset monkeys which have been kicking around in the top 25 or so for the last two weeks. The photos of these monkeys are from a zoo in Sweden but over on YouTube there is a video of the tiny monkeys in action at a zoo in Canada. According to the caption for this photo these tiny monkey's are the smallest monkeys in the world and live in the upper Amazon basin. The video of the Pygmy Marmoset monkeys shows an adult size monkey next to a baby and then has a hand that moves into camera range for a size comparison.
Pirates come back from the dead and battle treasure hunters who loot their sunked ship in this lego motion video. It uses a bunch of different video filters to set time and place (sepia filter, blue filter, grainy filter, etc.). I can't tell if they do any stop motion in the video but they do control the lego guys puppetlike with thread. In any event the pirate ship sinks long ago and grows seaweed at the bottom of the sea for a long time. Come 2003 when a set of treasure hunters find the wreck and loot the treasure from it. The pirates wake up and blow up the submarine of the treasure hunters with a cannonball. The rest of the treasure hunters are stranded on an island with the treasure. The pirate ship attacks killing them all but only the pirate captain survives. Watch the video to find out how the captain meets his maker for betraying his crew at the end. It feels like a movie that was made in 'The Movies' video game.
Here is a strange little 3D pirate film which is about four minutes long. A lone pirate captain finds a treasure map in a bottle while trying to guzzle some rum. He pulls up the anchor (which is really a wagon wheel) and fires up the prop on his one man pirate ship. Once he reachs the island on the map he slogs through the jungle in the dark. He fires his pistol at an annoying firefly and kills the last living white elephant. Next up he finds the treasure chest in a cave and proceeds to open it only to find it contains nothing but a t-shirt. The island was really suppost to be an amusement park for the now dead white elephant. Told you it was strange.
