In this video a guy in Japan shows off a mech he built for around $300,000. It looks like a mech but the legs don't actually lift off the ground and seem to just slide along like the feet have rollers under them. He has air cannons mounted on either side.

Here's a pretty unconventional performance by a guy who's name I think is Gilles Apap. He's performing a piece by Mozart on a�violin by himself. The unconventional part is that along with playing the violin he also whistles, sings, strums the violin like a ukulele, and plays a beat on the violin with his fingers. The best part is the look on the faces of the orchestra around him. They have varying looks between amazement, embarrassment, and astonishment as if they can't believe this guy is on the same stage as themselves at the same time that they are amazed at the sound he is producing.

Here is a bizarre video featuring a guy who dresses up like Darth Vader and plays a violin in a city downtown. Some of the comments of the video claim it was filmed in downtown Victoria, BC, Canada. The guy sings along with his violin busking though it's pretty difficult to make out what he's saying. At least he is somewhat original moreso than some of the�buskers in other entries (like the guy from San Francisco). The video might be better if the guy actually knew how to play the violin.

There are a couple videos on YouTube featuring dogs singing along with bagpipes. This video is the main one and has a black lab singing (howling) while the dog's owner plays the bagpipes. Apparently the dog sings all the time according to the caption of the video. There is a second video featuring two dogs�side by side� with one singing (howling) to bagpipes as well. In the second video the�black dog can't figure out why the brown dog is howling and tries to nip him to make him stop. The black dog just seems mildly annoyed by the bagpipes instead.

There are a bunch of different video clips of this mechanical spider vehicle and here is one of them. Basically the guy sits in the middle of the "spider" and walks it around with some joysticks. One thing I noticed about the legs is that some of them just seemed to slide along the ground as if the weight was on a different foot than some of the feet that were down. I assume this would allow it to walk on more uneven terrain but on blacktop it seems a little strange. It looks like the gas tank is right behind the drivers head. Apparently they also took this Mondo Spider vehicle to Burningman.

Guy in this video is working on his own Stonehenge using only sticks and rocks. In the video his rolls a one ton rock along a specially designed wooden platform using only his hand.�He shows how he uses a stone under a huge block of concrete to spin it around and how if he puts another stone under it he can move it with a lever system. In another video clip he moves an entire bard using this method. He takes a huge Stonehenge style block and drops it upright in�a hole using some weights, rope, and sticks. In order to get the huge piece of rock high enough to drop it in he rocks it back and forth and sticks a stick in each side of the fulcrum after he rocks it. Reminds me of the Coral Castle guy in Florida. He puts the National Geographic (?)�Easter Island guys who were doing something similar to shame though.

The easiest way to describe this video is to say that it is of a women performing a ballet while riding a bicycle. It mainly consists of a woman riding a bicycle around in a gymnasium and doing all kinds of balancing tricks on the bike. While the bike is moving around in a circle she stands on the handlebars, stands on the seat and handlebars, and does the same thing again while the bike is going backwards. Along with that she rides it around on one wheel while sitting on the front of the bike and all kinds of other crazy balancing tricks which can't even begin to be described here. According to the caption of the video it was�filmed in Wuerzburg, Germany circa 2001.

In this video a group of people are driving down the road and it appears they are going to the World Cup in Germany but that is just a guess. The car has a jersey hanging in it and one guy is waving a small hand flag in front of the camera. Another car pulls up along side them on the freeway and there is a similar group of people in the second car waving flags and yelling (one guy in the back appears to have an open beer). The passenger in the front seat of the other car is holding their tickets out the window and waving them back and forth. Suddenly the tickets fly out of his hand and back down the freeway. Ooops.

This video is a mashup between multiple Star Trek episodes and the three original Star Wars movies. It's about 7 minutes long and pretty well done. The Star Trek Enterprise is warping along when it comes upon the Death Star. The Enterprise tries diplomacy and the Empire from Star Wars attacks straight away. It has Tie fighters attacking the Enterprise and the Enterprise bringing down a Super Star Destroyer. Finally the Enterprise has to run away when the Death Star fires on them. The video mashup itself is pretty well scripted with the dialog all matching and making sense in the 7 minute plot.

In this car accident video they are in the middle of a pickup truck race when one of the outside trucks nudges the middle�truck which nudges the inside truck. The inside�truck�loses it and goes sliding off towards the inside of the track. The wind catchs the truck and it flies up like a giant wing and comes down on the top of the cab. It bounces the top of the cab off the track throwing sparks everywhere before the truck rights itself again and continues skidding along the pavement. It's pretty amazing how that original tap from the middle truck through the inside truck so off that it completely flipped over like that.
