Here is a pretty crazy photo of a lamb that was born in New Zealand. It was ranked as one of the top most emailed photos on Yahoo. Apparently the lamb was born with seven legs as you can see in the photo. It doesn't look like the lamb is even able to stand up as it has some many legs. There isn't any other information on the caption for the photo other than it's a one a in a few million occurance that a lamb is born like this. Are there any nuclear reactors in New Zealand? If so, this lamb�might have been living down stream from one if you ask me.

Here's a crazy video of a�two legged robot that balances and walks upright on it's own. The information with the video also says the robot learns the more it balances. They also show a second robot trying to push it over and it corrects it's balance.

Here is a photo of a duckling with four legs which poped up on the most emailed photos on Yahoo. Apparently the duck was discovered in England at a duck farm.�The two extra feet don't seem to be as correctly formed as the normal two feet of the duck. Hard to tell if the extra legs are usable or not as well. Makes you wonder what�they feed ducks in England and are they down river from a nuclear power plant to get their extra mutant on.

This photo of a two faced cow shot up to the number one emailed photo on Yahoo today. Yesterday it was on the move in their top twenty or so. Apparently the cow has two eyes in the center of the two faces, two tongues, and two different noses which it breaths out of. The real question is does Rural Retreat, Virginia where the cow was born glow? In reality mutations like this are pretty common it seems as we've posted things like this before and there are whole websites dedicated to five legged cows and other such things.

Here is a video of a "prototype" tractor that was (is?) being developed by a defunct John Deere subsidiary. It looks a lot like some kind of insect with six legs�or a lot like that mondo spider video we posted the other day. According to some of the comments with the video they were developing it for use in low impact logging but it really moves very slow. I can't see it being practical moving that slow (though that mondo spider moved pretty fast). Here is an article from New Zealand about a baby chick which had four legs. Apparently it recently died because of digestive issues and they are now keeping it in a freezer before having it stuffed. So the question is have you ever seen a four legged chicken before? And how many of todays animals are the way they are because of a mutation which happened a long time ago. If you think about it they should get the DNA from this baby chick and see if they can clone it without the side effects. That would give you two extra legs per chicken for food consumption. Combine this with the featherless chickens and you'd have a winner.

So the most emailed photo on Yahoo for today was this photo of a lamb which was born with six legs in Belgium. This fits right in with all the other mutant animal photos (remember the two headed snake and the one eyed kitten). So is the farm where this lamb was�born down river from any nuclear power plants,�in the fallout path from Chernobyl, or is this just random mutation? Is a lamb with six legs a better all terrain vehicle than a lamb with four legs? Would you eat the meat from a lamb that had six legs?

The robots are flying fast and furious lately with another robot for today which looks like a roach and can climb vertical surfaces. They show the robot climbing up a treetrunk, climbing up a brick wall, climbing up a wood wall, and climbing up a plastic wall or some such. Apparently this is another DARPA funded project (military) and I can think of all kinds of things you could do with it.�For example, it could be used for�mounting turrets or antenna on cliffs,�climbing cliffs, bugging trees with cameras and speakers, and any number of other things where you need to climb a vertical face. Have the mule robot from yesterday siddle up to the cliff and launch these climbers. Six legged robot roach�ninjas for the win!

Yahoo had a photo of a five legged cow at one point which�I blogged about but which doesn't seem to be available anymore. In searching for the photo I stumbled on this "Sideshow World" website which has all kinds of photos of mutated animals such as two headed cows, two faced kittens, a second photo of a cyclops kitten (not the same kitten as the most recent photo which appeared on Yahoo/AP). It also features multiple images of cows with five or six legs in some instances as well as a seven towed cat and an eight legged lamb. They also have posters and such from old�carnivals and sideshows one of which features a drawing of a two legged dog. Crazy stuff (photos not for the faint of heart).

If you thought the radiation in your town was decreasing think again. We've posted two headed turtles, two headed snakes, five legged cows, and other such anomilies on the site before. Up for today we have a photo of a fish with two mouths. A fisherman caught this fish in Holmes Lake near Lincoln, Nebraska according to the caption for the photo. He said that the lower mouth did not appear to function and the hook was in the upper mouth. I don't know about you but I don't think I would be chomping down on a mutated fish or any fish from that lake for that matter.

Update: Looking at the picture more I guess it's possible that the lower "mouth" is just an injury. Maybe the fish was caught, released, and the hole just slowly ripped open.
