Here's a crazy video of a�two legged robot that balances and walks upright on it's own. The information with the video also says the robot learns the more it balances. They also show a second robot trying to push it over and it corrects it's balance.

In this video a guy gets carried up on�a updraft while kite surfing. He's in the air for about thirty eight seconds or some before coming back down. He moves in over land up to about two hundred feet or so before coming back down and crashing into the dirt.

Here's a video of an remote control B-29 model carrying a remoted control X-1 rocket plane model. The B-29 takes off and�drops the rocket plane. The rocket plane ignites and shoots upwards before coming back and landing. The B-29 model does a few fly bys of the camera including one where it flies by upside down and does a backwards loop. Both planes land safely verses other videos where they fly a big model and then crash it by mistake.

Guy in this video is working on his own Stonehenge using only sticks and rocks. In the video his rolls a one ton rock along a specially designed wooden platform using only his hand.�He shows how he uses a stone under a huge block of concrete to spin it around and how if he puts another stone under it he can move it with a lever system. In another video clip he moves an entire bard using this method. He takes a huge Stonehenge style block and drops it upright in�a hole using some weights, rope, and sticks. In order to get the huge piece of rock high enough to drop it in he rocks it back and forth and sticks a stick in each side of the fulcrum after he rocks it. Reminds me of the Coral Castle guy in Florida. He puts the National Geographic (?)�Easter Island guys who were doing something similar to shame though.

Here is another video�from Krazy Kooks In The Desert 2006�er I mean Burningman.�There was a similar video from 2005 however in that video the fire jet just hung off a pole on a single rope. They upgraded it a bit since then and this time it is a pendulum with the fire jet swinging around up in the air on a pole.�It looks like there are five burners, one up, one towards the camera, and one on either side. It seems like it is RC controlled as they shoot one side burner to swing it one way and then shoot the other side burner to swing it the other way.�However the pendulum weight is also giving it some movement. It's basically a jet engine on a�pendulum swinging around.

Over on Yahoo's most emailed photos they have several images of these tiny Pygmy Marmoset monkeys which have been kicking around in the top 25 or so for the last two weeks. The photos of these monkeys are from a zoo in Sweden but over on YouTube there is a video of the tiny monkeys in action at a zoo in Canada. According to the caption for this photo these tiny monkey's are the smallest monkeys in the world and live in the upper Amazon basin. The video of the Pygmy Marmoset monkeys shows an adult size monkey next to a baby and then has a hand that moves into camera range for a size comparison.

Here is a weird video of something called a 'Time Fountain' which is an illusion that looks like water drops as suspended in air. Apparently the drops of water have fluorescence in them which causes them to glow in the dark. The guy has a rack of blacklight (ultraviolet) lights setup near where the water is dripping. The lights are timed to the water dropping so it looks like the drops are suspended in air. Additionally he can make it look like the drops are falling in slow motion by varying the blacklight flashs. Lastly near the end of the video the water drops seem to reverse and flow upwards. In this video a mansion house called Updown Court is featured. The mansion was built in England and according to the video took five years to complete. The grounds include 58 acres of parks, gardens, and woodland. The inside living space of the house is around 14,000 square feet with a good portion of the house completely covered in a rare marble. There are multiple swimming pool sized pools inside the house and a large hearted pool outside. Additionally it features it's own bowling alley and what looks like house stables (not to mention the staff and guest houses). This place really reminds me of Hearst Castle, the Vanderbilt mansion, Lyndhurst, and the Rockefeller in architecture, design, and uselessness.

This video is a mashup between multiple Star Trek episodes and the three original Star Wars movies. It's about 7 minutes long and pretty well done. The Star Trek Enterprise is warping along when it comes upon the Death Star. The Enterprise tries diplomacy and the Empire from Star Wars attacks straight away. It has Tie fighters attacking the Enterprise and the Enterprise bringing down a Super Star Destroyer. Finally the Enterprise has to run away when the Death Star fires on them. The video mashup itself is pretty well scripted with the dialog all matching and making sense in the 7 minute plot.

These two German guys were out test flying this RC helicopter in a field somewhere. The helicopter pilot guy is doing all kinds of air acrobatics like flying the copter upside down, backwards, etc. It looks like he brings it in and is about to land it but he could also have been trying to do another trick. In any event the copter was to close to the ground and it flipped over and slammed down blades first into the grass. At this point the blade keeps spinning and the copter is flopping all over the place (there is no off switch on the controller?). The pilot guy runs out to grab turn it off but the camera guy warns him off (good thing too or he might be missing a hand now). The copter keeps flipping out until I guess the engine burned out or some such at which point they can get close enough and shut the engine off.
