Here is a pretty bizarre video of a face only test robot that does facial expressions. However, it doesn't seem to be able to handle the group of people that are attempting to communicate with it. It just keeps telling them to come close and asks their name over and over.

This commercial�has some pretty amazing particle effects but as far as branding goes I have no idea what they are trying to sell. The first particle effect is a bean bag made out of floating glass spheres, next up is a feather clowd around a woman, and lastly some kind of reverse zero gravity water bath bubble.

Here is what appears to be a music video except that is done completely with 3D animation with a flat color palette. It starts out with a world view and then zooms in on the UK. It keeps zooming in more and focuses on a specific house with a woman inside. It animates various life tasks and feels somewhat like one of those really large�ecosystem sketch�books. The woman gets up, east breakfast, goes to work, goes to lunch, goes back to work, and comes home again. A montage of the McDonalds culture if you will. At the end it zooms out and zooms in on Japan.

Here is a pretty weird video of a dress that has a LED grid on the front of it and two controls which let you play pong on the dress display. The video is kind of weird as it looks like it was filmed in some Eastern European country. On top of this there is scrolling text at the bottom of the video which is also pretty weird. In any event the lady is standing there in the dress in what looks like an arcade. Two guys walk up and she gives each of them a game controler. They play pong on the dress display. The display is very very low resolution.

Illusionist guy floats between two buildings in Las Vegas in this Video. There is not a continuous camera on him the entire time as they cut between camera views. Before he starts he gives one of the "spectators" his own camera to film it with. One thing I thought was kind of weird is that the comments the people make seem pretty close to the same comments made in the video where this same illusionist walks across a pool. When they show his shadow against a wall while he his doing his trick there isn't any wire shadows that I could see but the video quality is pretty poor.

Here is a pretty weird video from I think China where it has kids floating around on a river or pond in blown up plastic balls. There is a launching area and the kid is inside a giant plastic ball. The kid walks up to the water while inside the plastic ball and then floats out onto the water. They've used these kinds of things on game shows in the US before but I've never seen them just put kids in them and float them out onto a pond my themselves. Is the plastic ball sealed or where does their air come from? What happens if one of them starts sinking.

Here's a weird Coke commercial video where a guy walks up and puts his quarter in a Coke machine (since when were Coke's a quarter anytime in the last few decades). The coin rolls into the machine and then into a crazy world in a canyon which reminds me of the future in the movie 'The Time Machine'. These flying slugs carry a coke bottle into�a clockwork device where it gets filled and capped. After which it is sent to a freezer world where it gets cold and finally it exits the coke machine chased by a marching band of weird clockwork people. Apparently that is how coke machines work after you've had one to many cokes if you know what I mean.

So the most emailed photo on Yahoo right now is this photo of a guy who can pop his eyeballs far out of his eye sockets. I've seen a video from a TV show where a guy could do something similar. I'm not sure if it was the same guy or not. The photo shows a picture of him with his eyes looking normal and then this picture of him with his eyes popped way out of his sockets. The guy's name is Claudio Paulo Pinto and his eyeballs pop out�of their sockets about 7 millimeters. He currently lives in Brazil and needs a job according to the caption of the photo.

According to Wikipedia ferrofluid is composed of nanoscale ferromagnetic particles in a carrier fluid. When you put a magnet near the fluid it forms all kinds of crazy spikey liquid shapes. The caption for this video doesn't say but I believe they have an electromagnet below and above the ferrofluid seen in the video. They move the magnets around to create the shapes. Additionally they seem to have the strength of the electromagnets connected to a clap on clap off device. Near the end the two presenters cap which causes the ferrofluid to move and stop. Weird looking stuff.

This video has a pretty crazy optical illusion going on in it. Basically you sit there for a minute or so while these diamond lines pulse in the center of the screen. What is weird is if you screen shot the video it looks perfectly normal. However, when you are watching the video the center four or five lines or so seem to be moving towards the center and all the other lines are moving away from the center. When you look away from the optical illusion your vision seems to 'bubble' in the center of whatever you are looking at. It goes away after maybe 10 or 15 seconds. Crazy looking.
